Property Investment
Investment vehicles: what is changing in property in Portugal.
Pestana Palace, Lisbon
More models and more options. Now, the investor can make better decisions when assessing the vehicle, risk and financing — and when translating “technical” variables into real impact.
The Portuguese market is maturing. And that can be seen in one simple thing: there are more ways to invest. Corporate structures. Funds. Governance models. Each serves a strategy. And each changes how risk is managed. What this changes is this: choosing a vehicle is no longer a legal detail. It becomes a performance decision. It depends on the asset (and the cycle), the investor profile, the tax regime and the level of control one wants to have. The right choice improves predictability. The wrong choice can create friction.
At the Portuguese Real Estate Investment Vehicles conference, which took place at the Pestana Palace, promoted by Iberian Property and sponsored by Insula, the message was clear: in an increasingly complex global context, Portugal continues to stand out as a resilient real estate investment destination — with opportunities that reward discipline.
The debate also brought a practical point to the table: financing. Debt structures. Options for projects and assets. Because financing is not just a cost. It is structure. And structure is risk that can be measured. If you would like to know more about this topic, contact Insula and its team of specialists to explore ways to invest successfully in Portugal.

Kickoff Insula 2026
stART 2026: the start of the year in a place that inspires.
MACAM, Lisbon
Under the auspices of stART, Insula brought the team together at the Armando Martins Museum of Contemporary Art (MACAM) to reflect on 2025 and align priorities, energy and focus for 2026.
The KickOff to start the year took place on 13 February at MACAM. Surrounded by a creative and thought-provoking environment, we took an intentional pause to look at what we built in 2025 — what worked, what we learned and what we want to repeat with greater ambition.
stART was the theme: to start (start) with intention and with art (art). A starting point that connects vision and execution, strategy and culture. Throughout the meeting, we reinforced what sets us apart: rigour, closeness and the ability to turn complexity into clear decisions.
For 2026, we left with a simple but demanding alignment: focus on priorities, consistency in delivery and even more cross-functional collaboration. Because growing is not always about doing more — but it is certainly about doing better.

Insula Golf Tournament
4th Edition of the Insula tournament in Espinho.
Oporto Golf Club, Espinho
In its fourth edition, the Insula Golf Tournament is establishing itself as an event that celebrates relationships, focus and execution — with the same discipline required in asset management.
This year, the tournament took place at the historic Oporto Golf Club in Espinho — the oldest golf course in the Iberian Peninsula. Between the tranquillity of the Atlantic coast and a course as demanding as it was elegant, the day brought what mattered most: competition played in the spirit of fair play, the right conversations, and an atmosphere that builds trust.
Recurring events like this become more than just a social occasion. They become a meeting point — where partnerships are strengthened, opportunities are created, and a culture of rigour and performance is shared.
Insula thanks Oporto Golf Club and its members for the warm welcome and the attention to every detail, which made this edition truly memorable.
